Once upon a time GM was selling the crap box Pontiac Le Mans/Opel Kadett/Daewoo as the Passport Optima in Canada. Add that one to your list of P car makes RamblinRover...

We pretty much got these until 1998 in the UK, with a bit of a restyle. Hateful awful things. A family friend had one just like this, it was long ago crushed into a cube.

Yep. They used to be everywhere but they're all mostly dead now, haven't seen one in years. To be honest the car that replaced it wasn't that much nicer in my opinion. I don't like most Vauxhalls...
Bearing in mind Ford was selling this then for the same money...

Well, at least there was a GSi version available.
The Kadett also had one and it also had awesomely named Superboss variant in South Africa.

I was in an Orlov'd Geo Metro when I was 16. They roll back like Geo Metro just like a Reliant Robin.

There were actually TWO Canadian Geos - Asüna was launched for 1993 as a direct replacement for Passport, which was cancelled in '91 after just 5 model years. Asüna itself was dropped after 2 years in favor of Geo.
Typical 80s GM incompetence - create 3 new brands when 1 (or 0) would have done perfectly well.

My friend bought one for $300 in the worst colour imaginable.
It was like this but the yellow was lighter.
